Experience
I have over a decade of teaching experience with children, teens, and adults of all ages and would delight in sharing stories, music, and creative process with your students. I am also an Associate Professor of English at Northern Arizona University, where I teach Latino/a Literature, Multi-Ethnic Literature and Cultural Studies. I have also published numerous scholarly articles, chapters, and a book, Gang Nation: Delinquent Citizens in Puerto Rican, Chicano and Chicana Narratives.
I am available to speak and critique at writing conferences and book festivals. Areas of expertise include:
